Documents (doc,docx,xls,xlsx,pdf etc) preview functionality with sharepoint search

I have been working with this product called Longitude for sharepoint for some time now. I must say this is a great product that extends shrepoint search capabilities. It lets users preview documents without the necessity to download them as shown:
Some of the other kool features of the product are:
- Faceted Navigation (let users refine results based on grouping by document metadatas)
- Popularity tagging
- Key concepts (based on document tagging)
- Documents preview, download, print etc functionality right on the search results page.
- XSLT based customization of Search UI
- Parametric Search
- Hit highlighting
- Wild card Search
- Enhanced People Search etc
With these features, finding the relevant information is 10 times faster than with the default sharepoint search.

have you checked AJAX Document Viewer from Adeptol. We have been using it for a while and they provide full document preview capabilities for more than 200 document types. Website is adeptol . com

ys i’ve checked. looks good. however i believe Longitude is different from this ajax viewer in many ways. longitude enhances sharepoint search to quickly find relevant information out of thousands and millions of documents and the preview has got relevant pages marking and hit highlighting of searched keywords.
Longitude also supports many document types including parsing of zip archived file to preview documents with in it.
